life unexpected

wow it's been so long since i have actually been on blogger, that when i logged on i was a little confused. it all looks so different! i mean i like it...it's just different!

once again a little "life unexpected" kept me away from blogging, but everything that has been happening has been for the best so no complaints here. :) hopefully i can go back to having a more balanced schedule in the coming weeks so i have at least a little blog time for myself.

here's a mini update:

health ~ can you believe, my surgery was actually delayed! it was scheduled for june 21st, but right before my pre-op everything changed. more on that at some other time, but again it's a positive thing so i am a-o-k with the delay.

family ~ the mister's mom and her husband steve just came for a visit, and it was such a good time having them here. i didn't take a lot of photos, but as soon as i get a copy of theirs, i will definitely post some of their trip.

i'm also super excited because my mama and two of my little sisters are also coming out for a visit at the beginning of august! i can't tell you how happy i am that they are actually coming. it's been waaaay to long since they have been out here. :)

work ~ things are sort of crazy busy these days, but i couldn't be happier about it. i can't believe what a different environment i work in now compared to last year at this same time. wowza! i totally love all the  new beach bunnies in my life.

love ~ in september the mister and i will be celebrating our four year wedding anniversary, and ten years of ♥. it's totally gross how happy we are, and i will try not to make this too mushy! but even though i sometimes think there is no way i could possibly love him more, little things happen every day, and somehow i realize i do. i am so blessed to be married to my best friend.

that's all i have time to share for now! sooo now it's your turn... what have you been doing the past month? :)

I love Albert Einstein quotes and this one is just profound. I hope everything is okay with your upcoming surgery. I just underwent the knife a couple months ago and am still recovering.

After I read that you and your husband have been together for 10 years (and married 4), I want to say, what an inspiration that is to me! Because it seems so rare these days to see that, and still be soo happy ^_^

I've been in the blogger country of Absentia myself. I try to post, but it is harder for me to keep up with my bloggy friends, as my website is gaining traction! Yes, blogger seems to change endlessly, and--its wonky. My posts don't look like my text box. I wanted to give you a heads up: We are so excited to be included in HGTV's Freebie Friday blog giveaway tomorrow. We are giving away a cool Asian lacquer coffee or low side table in one of 5 color options, so come on by for a chance to win!! Its worth upwards of $500.00 so its our biggest yet. Give us a tweet or a thumbs up on our FB page!
Good Luck!
